Meghan graduated in 2007 from James Madison University (JMU) with dual Bachelors degrees in Communication and English. While attending JMU, she swam for the Varsity Swim Team specializing in the sprint and middle distance freestyle events. In addition, she coached several swim teams for the Northern Virginia Swim League. Meghan joined Octagon in August 2007 and in her free time coaches for the Fort Belvoir Swim Team.
